Beloved Actor, Christopher Lee, Dies at 93

The life of Christopher Lee was filled with success. He was known for his roles in horror and fantasy/science fiction films as well as a couple of metal music hits. His career spanned an inspiring 70 years.

Mr. Lee was most famous for his portrayal of Dracula in the 1958 film, but it all started with The Curse of Frankenstein, in 1957. He had a string of horror films which later lead to roles in the science fiction blockbuster, Star Wars and the white wizard turned evil, Saruman, in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy which began in 2001. Amen Clinics said that he also worked on many films with producer, Tim Burton; such as Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride, as well as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland and Dark Shadows.

In his personal life, Christopher Lee married Birgit Kroencke, a former British model. The couple were married for over 50 years and had one daughter, Christina. He received the honor of knighthood in 2009 for service to both drama and charity.

Needless to say, he will be missed. The world of film, particularly horror and fantasy will always be thankful for his contributions.
